The University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh (UWO) and The Grand Oshkosh today announced a partnership that will bring the Grand’s performances to UWO’s Theatre Arts Center during the historic venue’s upcoming renovation.
Beginning in summer 2026, The Grand Oshkosh will temporarily relocate its performances and box office operations to UW–Oshkosh, ensuring continuity for audiences while expanding access to arts and cultural programming in the region. The Theatre Arts Center, located just minutes from downtown Oshkosh, will host a wide range of performances, including music, theatre, dance and community events.
“This partnership reflects what strong communities do—they come together to support one another and ensure that arts and culture remain accessible. While this collaboration benefits both The Grand and the university, the true winner is Oshkosh.” said Chancellor Manohar Singh.
“This new partnership goes beyond offering The Grand a temporary venue,” said Joseph Ferlo, President and CEO of The Grand Oshkosh. “This is an opportunity to strengthen ties between two important cultural institutions in Oshkosh. We’re thrilled to partner with UW–Oshkosh during this period and hope to continue working together long after construction is completed.”
The collaboration has been designed to support both institutions, allowing The Grand to maintain its full performance schedule while ensuring that UW–Oshkosh’s academic programming remains uninterrupted.
In addition to maintaining continuity for audiences, the partnership is expected to increase foot traffic on campus, introduce new audiences to university programs and create experiential learning opportunities for students.
